Star Wars Battlefront 2: How to Quickly Earn Credits

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been going through some turmoil in terms of its progression system. It has been in a constant state of flux even though the game officially just came out today. We’ve seen the prices of heroes changed, we’ve seen the removal of microtransactions (for now) so there’s no telling what the future has in store for this game.

As it stands for right now, credits are still needed to obtain those oh so valuable loot boxes. There are a variety of ways to get credits and some are faster than others. Here are some tips to help you get credits fast.

This list will be updated as more options become apparent.

Complete The Campaign

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 boasts a single-player campaign while its predecessor did not. Admittedly, it does start promising if you’ve been looking forward to the perspective of the Imperials but quickly falls flat as you progress.

Thankfully, the campaign itself is just a few hours long so you should be able to plow through it in a day if you dedicate some time. If you find all the collectibles you’ll get an extra boost of credits but completing the campaign itself rewards you with 5,000 credits, enough to unlock Iden Versio.

You don’t have to use the credits to unlock Versio but instead you can use them to open a couple of loot boxes or save up for one of the more expensive heroes like Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.

Complete Challenges

Early on, challenges are the best way to earn credits because you’ll be earning them in bunches. There are some very early on that are easy to complete like play 10 minutes with a certain class, play a match of Starfight Assault, etc. which should be easy to do.

Some of the challenges reward you with credits but some will also give you crafting parts which are equally as important. You can always check your career list and see what challenges you still have to do to help maximize your credit supply.

Play Multiplayer

Once you complete the campaign and finish most of the challenges, then that’s when the real grind begins. Credits in multiplayer are mostly earned through the length of the match, for whatever reason. Even if you come in first place overall, you’ll only get a fraction more credits than what the players below you got. Match length factors into a lot of things here.

This means that even if your team is performing well and you stop the enemy from advancing through the first checkpoint, it will actually hurt you since the match didn’t go very long. With that said, this is pretty much the only way you’ll be earning credits once you’re out of campaign missions and challenges.

Free story DLC and content is on the way so this might possibly add some more challenges into the mix and give us new ways to earn credits. All of that remains to be seen for right now.

Do Arcade Missions

Yes, they are boring but they will be a good source of credits. You can only earn 500 credits a day from doing this but they will only take a few minutes to complete.

If everything works out, you should be able to earn the 500 credits quicker than you would if you were to jump right into a few multiplayer matches. However, you likely won’t be having as much fun doing it.
